Polar bear day
International Polar Bear Day takes place on February 27. Polar Bear Day aims to alert to the danger of extinction of this protected species since 2001. Scientists estimate that there are 25,000 polar bears in the world. Despite being one of the best hunters among wildlife, as well as the largest carnivorous animal on land, the polar bear is considered a vulnerable animal species, as it faces the threat of the loss of its natural habitat as a result of global warming and Thawing of the sea.
